Social Networking, like Facebook

The Big 3, today

Everyone knows that the social media tools are the life force of our new digital age.  But which tools you need, and how to use them is usually incomprehensible if it’s not your second nature.  But it is our second nature, and we can show you the way.

In early Spring of 2006 we ran an innovative Facebook campaign for a congressional candidate that garnered media attention, hundreds of new volunteers, and over 100,000 imprints.  We didn’t know it at the time, but it was also the first Facebook campaign for a congressional candidate… ever.

Most people thought Facebook was just a passing fad for the college set– but we could see that it was the future of the social graph.

What is the social graph? It’s the way that our online interactions come to mirror our offline reality.  The social graph can move both directions, with Facebook events creating in-person gatherings and in-person interactions shaping our online social network.  In the 90s the social graph was the way that underground news stories spread by email forwarding.

Today the social graph is an intricate web of personalized dynamic interactions across multiple cloud platforms.  It is growing, it is changing, and it is all around us.

If your business thinks that having a Facebook page makes you up to date, you’ve got a lot to learn.  And if you don’t even have a Facebook page– well that’s a lot like what not having a website was last decade– you could do it, but you shouldn’t.

We can help you figure it out.  Request our free Web 2.0 analysis and consultation today.
